Stronglifts: 5x5 When to Workout (Android)


You do three workouts per week, with at least one rest day in-between.


Most people train Monday, Wednesday, Friday. But you can also train Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Or Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday.


You can set your training schedule in home - edit - schedule. 

  • If you set 3x/week, StrongLifts will automatically alternate between 1 day on, 1 day off, 1 day on, 1 day off, 1 day on, 2 days off. If you skip a day, StrongLifts will automatically update the date of your next workouts.
  • If you set fixed days, like monday, wednesday, friday, then StrongLifts will automatically schedule your workout days on these days. If you skip a day, StrongLifts will automatically shift your workouts to the next monday/wednesday/friday (or whatever fixed days you picked).
