Stronglifts: How to Recover Pro
If you've purchased Stronglifts Pro but are still being prompted to pay, the app may not recognize your purchase.
Please follow these steps to restore your Stronglifts Pro purchase.
Recovering Stronglifts Pro on iOS (iPhone, iPad)
To recover StrongLifts Pro on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps...
- Open Stronglifts
- Go to Settings
- Tap subscription
- Select "Restore Purchase"
Recovering Stronglifts Pro on Android
To recover Stronglifts Pro on your Android device (Google, Samsung, etc), please follow these steps...
- Open Stronglifts
- Go to Settings
- Tap subscription
- Your purchase will now automatically be back.
What to do if recovering Stronglifts Pro on iOS doesn't work
Stronglifts checks the Apple ID on your phone to verify your purchase. If you're using a different account from the one you used to buy Stronglifts Pro, you won't have access to Pro features.
Example: if you purchased Stronglifts Pro with john.smith@icloud.com but later switched to johnny12345@icloud.com, Stronglifts will check johnny12345@icloud.com and not find your purchase.
You can check if you purchased with your current Apple ID by going to your device settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID, view Apple ID, Subscription.
If you don't see Stronglifts, switch your Apple ID to the one you purchased. You can do this in phone settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID. For more info see: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204053
Please also make sure that your recurring subscription didn't expire. Go to your phone settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID, view Apple ID, select Stronglifts. if your subscription has expired, please sign up again. Or consider upgrading to Stronglifts Pro Lifetime.
What to do if recovering Stronglifts Pro on Android doesn't work
Stronglifts checks the Google Play account on your phone to verify your purchase. If you're using a different account from the one you used to buy Stronglifts Pro, you won't have access to Pro features.
Example: if you purchased Stronglifts Pro with john.smith@gmail.com but later switched to johnny12345@gmail.com, Stronglifts will check johnny12345@gmail.com and not find your purchase.
You can check if you purchased with your current account by visiting Google Play or payments.google.com. If you can't find Stronglifts Pro in your order history, then you're not using the Google account you purchased with.
Here's how to fix this:
- Update Google Play to the latest version
- Add the Google Account you purchased with to your device
- Set this account as the main account
- Restart your phone

How to recover a webpurchase of Stronglifts Pro Lifetime
If you purchased Stronglifts Pro Lifetime or Stronglifts Pro Lifetime Family from the Stronglifts website, it will not show inside your Apple or Google Play subscriptions.
This is by design - purchasing from this website bypasses their service fees and allows us to give you a discount. The purchase will only show inside Stronglifts > settings > subscriptions.
You can recover this purchase by going to Stronglifts > settings > profile. Log in with the account that you used after you made the purchase. The purcahse will then show under Stronglifts > settings > subscription.
If you didn't log in on the website after making the purchase, or don't remember the account, please contact us so we can help you. Email us from Stronglifts > settings > report an issue, and include a copy of your invoice.
How to transfer Stronglifts Pro from iOS to Android
Stronglifts Pro works across both iOS and Android platforms.
If you've purchased Stronglifts Pro on the Apple App Store and then switch to an Android device, your purchase will transfer over. The same applies if you switch from Android to iOS. You do not need to purchase Stronglifts Pro twice. Your workouts will also automatically transfer to the new platform.
Here's how to transfer your purchase and workouts...
- Install the latest version of Stronglifts on both devices.
- Open Stronglifts on the original device where you purchased Stronglifts Pro.
- Go to settings > profile > login if you aren't yet. This will save your purchase and workouts to our server.
- Take your new device, open Stronglifts, and go to profile > settings > login with the same account.
- Your purchase and workouts will now be restored on the new device.
How to transfer Stronglifts Pro from Android to IOS
The steps are similar to when transfering from iOS to Android.
- Install the latest version of Stronglifts on both devices.
- Open Stronglifts on the original device where you purchased Stronglifts Pro.
- Go to settings > profile > login if you aren't yet. This will save your purchase and workouts to our server.
- Take your new device, open Stronglifts, and go to profile > settings > login with the same account.
- Your purchase and workouts will now be restored on the new device.
How to recover Power Pack
If you bought the Stronglifts Power Pack between 2014 and 2018, you can restore your purchase using the same steps described in this guide.
You have lifetime access to all the original Power Pack features that were available before we introduced Stronglifts Pro in 2018. No features have been taken away from what you originally purchased. In fact, we have added several new features. For example: you can now fully customize workouts A and B. This wasn't possible when you initially purchased the Power Pack.
However, we’ve introduced many new features and programs over the years that require a Stronglifts Pro subscription. To thank you for your early support, we offer a special discount for Power Pack users who purchased between 2014 and 2018.
