What to do if Apple denies a refund request?
Apple sometimes rejects refund requests. The exact reason for this is often unclear however in their terms they write: ".... Apple may suspend or cancel payment or refuse a refund request if we find evidence of fraud, abuse, or unlawful or other manipulative behavior..."
Please note that Apple does not give developers the ability to process or approve refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store. The control of payments and refunds is entirely managed by Apple. So, if you need a refund, you have to request it directly from Apple. They are the ones who will decide whether or not to grant it. Stronglifts does not have a button that we can press to grant a refund because Apple doesn't provide developers with access to do so. All refund decisions are managed by Apple.
If your refund was denied, it's Apple's decision, not ours. You can get in touch with Apple support, explain your situation, and ask them to reconsider your request.

Why can you process refunds for Google Play but not Apple?
Google provides developers with access to perform refunds. Apple does not provide developers with access to perform refunds. We can therefore process refunds for purchases done through the Google Play platform only, but not through the Apple App Store.
