How To Recover Your Stronglifts Workouts on a New Phone

When you switch to a new phone, install Stronglifts on the new device and log in with the same account you used on your old device. All your workouts and purchases will sync automatically.

If you weren't logged in on your previous device, you'll need to do so first to sync your workouts and purchases to the new device.

Here's how to do this:

  1. On your old device, open Stronglifts and go to settings.

  1. Tap "Profile".

  1. Log in to create an account. This will save your workouts and purchases to our server.

  1. Once you're logged in, repeat the above process on the new device. Go to Stronglifts > settings > profile > login with the same account. Your workouts and purchases will show.

What if my workouts don't show on the new device?

You may have logged in with a different account or were not logged in on your old device.

Your workouts and purchases are tied to your specific account. Using different account details will result in your workouts not showing on the new device.

It's like logging out from your Gmail account and then logging in with a different email. You won't see your old emails and contacts because they are tied to the original account.

For your workouts to show on the new device, you need to use the same account as on your old device.

  1. Please take your old device, then open Stronglifts > settings > profile.
  2. Note which account you're logged in with here.
  3. Open the new device, and go to Stronglifts > settings > profile.
  4. Log in with the same account.
  5. Your workouts and purchases will now show.

If you were not logged into an account on your old device, your workouts were not saved to our server. First, log in on your old device to sync your data. After that, you can log in on your new device with the same account to see your workouts and purchases.

Can I migrate my workouts from iOS to Android or iOS to Android?

Yes, simply log in with the same account on both devices.

  1. Go to Stronglifts > settings > profile on your first device.
  2. Note the account you're logged in with.
  3. Open the new device, and go to Stronglifts > settings > profile.
  4. Log in with the same account.
  5. Your workouts and purchases will now show.
