How to Log Your Body Weight
You can track your body weight with Stronglifts like this:
- Open Stronglifts
- Tap Start Workout
- Tap body weight (below the last exercise)
Your body weight will be remembered for your next workout. If you enter 200lb in today's workout, your body weight will be 200lb in your next workout as well. This saves you from entering it every time as people's body weight usually doesn't change much between two workouts.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I set the weight unit of my body weight?
- Open Stronglifts
- Go to Settings > Weight Unit
- Change the weight unit for "Body Weight"
Stronglifts makes it possible to log your body weight in a different weight unit than your workouts. Example: you can track your exercise weight in lb but your body weight in kg.
How do I hide my body weight?
If you don't like to see your body weight during your workouts, you can disable it like this:
- Open Stronglifts
- Go to Settings > Weight Unit
- Disable the body weight setting at the bottom
How do I automatically sync my body weight from my scale with Stronglifts?
Stronglifts can automatically pull your body weight logged with your digital scale to today's workout. Here's the general process...
- Connect your digital scale with its app.
- Connect your scale's app with Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android).
- Allow Stronglifts to access the weight data from Apple Health or Health Connect.
Each time you weigh yourself, your scale's app will send your body weight value to Apple Health or Health Connect. Stronglifts will pull this weight value from there and load it into the app. You can enable both services from Stronglifts > Settings. For more info, please read our guides:
Troubleshooting
My body weight is not carried to the next workout on iPhone
Stronglifts carries over the last body weight that you enter in the workout that you log today to the next workout. You can enter your body weight like this:
- Start Workout
- Tap body weight
- Enter your body weight
However, Apple Health gets priority over the body weight that you enter manually in Stronglifts. If you enable Apple Health sync, then Stronglifters will pull your body weight from Apple Health at the start of each workout. It does this to save you time and effort manually entering your weight.
If your body weight is incorrect in Apple Health, then that can result in an incorrect weight in Stronglifts. You can check your weight in Apple Health like this...
- Open the Apple Health app
- Tap your profile in the top right corner
- Scroll down to "Show All Health Data"
- Select "Weight"
- Scroll down to "Show All Data" and review the entries
- Go back to "Weight", and select "Data Sources & Access"
- Review the Data Sources. Your body weight could be pulled from another app.
